Dawn Burke (Soft Tissue Therapist RMT)

My career started with 20 plus years before moving into the Therapeutic Massage field.  5 years working at the Kensignton Fitness centre in Whangarei gave me the opportunity to work with a wide variety of individuals and teams.  Everything from your "weekend worrior" to your top athletes Sam Warriner-2008 ITU World Champion.

A move to Christchurch provided the opportunity to explore or develop my rehabilitation skills although I did continue to work in the sporting field.  (Who could boast that they massaged  New Zealand's two top sporting captains on the same day--Ritchie Mc Caw-All Blacks and Julie Seymore-Silver Ferns).  I worked in two very busy busy clinics: one, with 6 chiropractors and the other, with a Acupuncturist, a Naturopath and a Osteopath.

The last 2 years was spent setting up the New Zealand College of Massage, Christchurch Campus as Canterbury lost their training facility after that fateful EARTHQUAKE.

Now, I find myself in the MIGHTY WAIKATO following the move of my Husband to his head office in Hamilton and looking forward to working with you all.

I call myself a Soft Tissue Therapist as I use more than your standard massage techniques to help you REHAB., REVIVE, and REJUVENATE to hopefully reach your goals (whatever they may be).
