WE HAVE MOVED RECENTLY
As physiotherapists it’s our job to get you moving and functioning at your optimum, whether it be at work, school, home, sports injuries on the sports field or in the community. When disease, injury, disability or aging impedes your movement or function we can help with treatment (eg massage therapy, acupressure, acupuncture, etc), rehabilitation, injury prevention and regaining your health.
Initially you will be thoroughly assessed and have your condition explained to you, we will discuss treatment options and together we will establish treatments goals. We then implement those treatment modalities with the aim of restoring you or developing your movement or function potential and then preserving that potential.

Joint Mobilisations
|
The common modalities we use are:
Joint Mobilisations - are when the therapist uses their hands to glide a joint in the direction that is not functioning correctly to assist the joint and limb or trunk range of movement and/or reduce pain
Kinesio® Taping - a new taping method to help hasten rehabilitation see Kinesio taping page for more information
Acupressure - pressuring the body’s acupuncture points/ trigger points to alleviate pain and spasm
Acupuncture - inserting fine needles into acupuncture points to help the body heal itself, see acupuncture page for more information
Electrotherapy - using electronic equipment to aid healing and reduce symptoms
Therapeutic Massage - using deep tissue massage and trigger point techniques to relax tight sinews, to help alleviate pain and chronic health issues.
